SENSITIVITY Inspirations®

About myself

Born in Greece to German parents, I grew up in Brazil, Venezuela and Chile due to my father’s occupation. After completing my high-school diploma at the German Expats Humboldt School in Caracas, there followed what for me personally were quite difficult years on our return to my parents’ home in Germany, initially with countless trips back to my »real home« in the Caribbean, which made me homesick. With iron will I continued my education and training and started on my professional career as a PR and Marketing Assistant at the former BBC Brown Boveri electrical engineering group in Mannheim. Far-sighted and generous visionaries encouraged me from a very early stage. I became an international Advertising Manager at ABB and ALSTOM Transportation Systems Ltd. in Switzerland and for many years travelled with tremendous enthusiasm to carry out unique and fascinating missions for the railways throughout the world. Then came the unexpected collapse and rapid dismantling of the ABB Group, which was both sudden and brutal and ultimately resulted worldwide in considerable suffering and significant changes for everyone involved. This led to a tendency to structures that had lost their vision of the future, to fear and lust for power, to bustling delusions of control, dramatic savings activism and a painful, but unstoppable inability of corporate staff to get along with each other, to new phenomena such as »mobbing«, »bossing« and all the fuss, which finally ended up by eliminating my position as well. Devoid now of the energy and motivation to pursue my career further, I very sadly realised how this business works. I could no longer discern which way was the right way for me to take.

I gradually became more objective about the situation, acquired very different perspectives, saw new opportunities and spent what was for me a very valuable time learning to focus on my spiritual development that was leading to light. This was followed by an even more exciting long-distance journeys, that were multi-faceted and had a profound impression on me, midnight heavy metal concerts on stage of the unique Z7 in Pratteln, an unexpected release of creativity and finally the time to dedicate myself to many, completely new and extremely interesting people.

The reason for hiding myself in repetition and security had been repeatedly and thoroughly taken away from me from my childhood days. I no longer saw that as a threat, but a great opportunity for an exciting, unpredictable, varied and relatively free life, as long as I remained courageous enough to carry on. I had always accepted responsibility for myself, and still do, which is why I am careful about taking risks, practice prudence at all times, try to recognise support and signs, learn to use and appreciate both to an enormous degree. Today I say »thank you« for all the adventurous paths I have travelled and the appropriate help I received, since they gave me loving perspectives, clarity and the well-overdue change at the right time. This is what made everything I am today and will be in the future possible.

In 2005, with renewed courage, but with some deep scars inside and still unsure of what to expect, I cautiously entered into the hustle and bustle of setting up of the international »IBM Headquarters« in Zurich. At IBM, even after numerous restructurings, I am still working one hundred percent as »Personal Assistant« at IBM Switzerland. I negotiate time slots, keep and supervise the precious time of my international »Top Executives« in their totally trendy, fast moving business environment, constantly changing and adapting all these hopelessly overcrowded electronic calendars. In addition, I see to it that several times a week they are definitely sitting in the right aircraft.

IBM, a truly authentic »global player«, gives me challenging assignments that carry responsibility, lets me feel the pulse of the times, hold many interesting conversations, redefine stress and have a lot of fun doing it. I am surrounded by a pioneering spirit and very demanding people from all over the world. The whole thing inspires daily to do more. IBM attaches great importance to solutions that match the individual’s needs, leaves nothing to chance and also appreciates what I am doing with SENSITIVITY Inspirations.

Initially for professional reasons and today for many convictions of my own, I love the life I have been leading since 1993 now in beautiful Switzerland. I recently chose to settle down in idyllic Mülligen in the canton of Aargau as my place of residence for my citizenship and home, and I am very pleased I made that decision.

Privately, I live happily with my partner Nick. Since we met, I have begun to believe this is something close to a miracle, because the probability of meeting one’s intellectual counterpart, one’s »soulmate« is around one to seven billion, i.e. the rest of the world’s population. Life with him is like being intoxicated deep down in my heart. Even if our pasts were different, we stand at the same starting point for the future. We believe there is nothing that touches a human being more than being understood deep down and to share the beauty of one’s own life with another. In short, Nick is also deeply involved with people and spirituality. However, he is also interested in European history (from ancient times to the early Middle Ages) and Norse mythology. As a result of this deep fascination, he has practiced European swordsmanship and other martial arts since he was sixteen, but also loves contemporary music, loves travel and adventure, and is fully conversant with state-of-the-art computer-based technologies at programming level. His original career as a mechanical engineer is perfect for all our domestic installations. We live in a kind of modern, stylish armoury, surrounded by his historical rarities, an impressive collection of swords and associated heavy suits of armour that radiate mysticism and magic. The deep longing for his former homeland in south-west Norway led us in 2012 for the first time to spectacular power places, such as the Preikestolen on the Lysefjord or the monument »Sverd i Fjell« in Stavanger and then to the open air museum Landa. A special experience for me was to have been there at the side of the »great warrior« and leader of the clan of Suna Élivágar.

My great infinite love is for Nick’s cat Pascha, who, in his great age, has survived two major house moves with us very well. Pasha is an extremely cuddly, people loving, trusting, wise, correct, very valuable animal with a wonderful character. He returns many times a day what he gets from us in abundance and sincerity. This »cat face« surprises us and brings us day every day again and again. The time we spend with Pasha, except when he wakes us up at night, is deeply rewarding and priceless when you consider how an animal can affect you. For us, he is an integral part of our life, because he is unique, fascinating, cute, very funny, alert and smart. Even his interested, yet calm gaze that makes no judgment often raises the question as to what he is likely to be thinking about, if thinks at all. Meanwhile, we are pretty sure that everything he experiences, sees and hears with us is transmitted directly, mercilessly, uncensored and at no cost to his cat planet :-).

Well now, I also have a ten-year younger sister with whom I always got on well with. She was born when we were in São Paulo, but nevertheless had her home and deep roots, as the whole family, in Caracas Venezuela. She lived there until the day when I picked her up with her guinea pig in her backpack at Frankfurt airport and knew she would stay with me in Germany. The only problem was that I was already moving to Switzerland. She is still living in Germany at the moment and works as a team leader in a good thriving garden centre. We always appreciate the time we spend together, always have tons of fun and very much to talk about. Although we are completely different, we share an enormous mutual understanding, great fun, a fundamental respect for each other and interest in each other, as well as gratitude and pride at always being the »special« sister.

It is said that »the apple does not fall far from the tree«, but in our case »the trunk also stands close to the apples«. Our parents are world travellers, adventurers, survivors and righteous, sincere, honest, courageous, interested, lively, witty people who have to this day remained young. They knew, above all, how to educate us daughters admirably, without changing mood, teaching us profound values such as love, trust, open communication, independence, decisiveness and many humorous ways of looking at life and showed us by example what they meant. They have always shared with us in a very natural and especially human way all their insights, joy and their amazement and wonder in life. We always have a genuine home in their hearts and when we visit them at their home, wherever they happen to be. There is a deep bond between us in both of these places that can hardly have been created in this life alone. Despite having the best role model, I never wanted to get married, so I am not divorced and have by intention no children either. »Double clicking« on the »kids button« always brought up »file empty« or »file not found«, and here I follow my inner voice or simply my own conviction. I am of course aware that everything could have been completely different when one considers that each person has the sum of all possibilities to choose from.

My hobbies are people, their stories and everything unvarnished what goes on behind the scenes and facades – especially the »why«. I love to have the most varied kind of contacts all over the world and like to maintain especially deep, long-lasting friendships throughout my life, wherever it touches and enriches the heart. This has always been a most valuable experience to me. Friendship with and respect for animals included. I am also inspired by trips through the jungle in off-road vehicles in South American countries, have enjoyed ballroom dancing for many years, adore a variety of music, and especially learning about spiritual healing.

My most powerful sources of inspiration and energy for years have included a large number of impressive »Symphonic Metal«, »Trash Metal«, »Progressive Metal«, »British Progressive Metal«, »Power Metal«, »Nu Metal«, »Metalcore«, »Metal«, »Melodic Metal«, »Industrial Metal«, »Heavy Metal«, »Grunge«, »Gothic Metal«, »Death Metal«, »Atmospheric Metal« and »Alternativ Metal« bands from all over the world that have the ability to create classical compositions. The corresponding jewels of so many gifted voices are their charismatic lead singers and nowadays a growing number of female singers, many of whom have been trained to sing opera. The appearance and effect of this kind of music that is often completely misunderstood and suffers greatly from prejudice or just unknown, in my experience, is a powerful source of energy with great strength and enthusiasm that we can use to great benefit in our lives. I have great respect for these bands who complete long journeys far away from home to give numerous, disciplined and very passionate performances on stage so that we can share a few hours of their dream as they offer us first hand an extract of their music. They transmit this unique spark of ecstatic international energy, which, like some stable, hard currency with an endless global validity, relentlessly thrills their family of fans all over the world. Contrary to the occasional penchant for prejudice of »non-insiders« against such concerts, this music and the voices that go with it enables us to create a strong bond to our innermost being, to infinity, to the horizon to deep emotions, to the desire for understanding, for change, perfection, struggle, destruction, reorganisation, victory, beauty, change, intensity, but also to develop tenderness and hope and faith. Experienced after midnight, when energy is at its highest, this music has a lasting enriching, enchanting, very energising and deeply touching and healing effect that reaches out to make contact and bind beyond many physical and even more mental boundaries. There are certainly more senseless jobs around.

Throughout my life, within the limits of my financial possibilities and the time available to me, I have enthusiastically pursued and fulfilled many dreams and looked at the world and its habitants on all continents very closely. I have repeatedly experienced, visited, watched, learned, appreciated and loved people in many different places and have understood more and more what being here might be about: perception, diversity, joy, imagination, freedom, responsibility, decision-making, energetic correlations, resonance, health and fascinating intellectual patterns. Initially in South America, where I grew up as a child and occasionally experienced spirituality with the local people, as an adult woman in Europe, consciously sought after spirituality revealed uneven, hidden, secretive and crucial paths that were filled with meaning and often uncomfortable, uneven paths into liberal approaches. It was and is my relentless goal to replace my own naivety with knowledge! This after all, stilled my thirst for knowledge. But that is not enough, because it is always necessary to repeatedly question what one experiences and at the same time focus on pursuing a healthy and joyful life and to enjoy a high quality of life, while letting others share the beauty of this life, to make them aware of what is around them and preferably also to inspire them.

The years of constant training and extensive practical exercise make such a thing as SENSITIVITY Inspirations possible to me today and it was all created by the sum total of my life to date. For me, the enormous flood of experiences, changes, states, attitudes, lifestyles, perceptions, observations, books, seminars, pathways and possibilities, dangers, setbacks, illnesses, new orientations and the resultant findings and decisions are essential and possibly for my soul another way of making sure that I arrive at my destination. What sense would this make otherwise?

Every person I have ever met, whether transient or sustained, has in her and his very own way helped to bring everything to the point. My special appreciation goes to all those who still recognise and know me or consciously keep in touch, because I was able to learn from or through all of them, and still do to this day with the many fantastic friends from all ages I remain in close contact with. It’s just great! But I am also looking forward to all the new encounters and the new friends I will make now and in the future. There are no coincidences! Each of us is extremely valuable and can change a lot and even more than any of us thinks is possible, because we are not what we think or say, but what we understand and radiate and do.

My tireless passion in this life is to help people to understand their nature and to help them right there, so that they can find their own destiny, to live authentic lives and resolve any tangles. Thus I want to do as much good for as many people as possible and make the world a better place. Helping to shape our future as an active, guiding force. At the same time, I too am growing in confidence and self-knowledge, knowing that each encounter leaves a lasting trail that connects us all together.

Any questions?
Sincerely, Yours Christina
